The Postmaster’s is central to all the Derby township has to offer. Just a short walk along Main Street to local cafes and pubs, bike hire and shuttle services.
The Postmaster’s has been lovingly refurbished and converted into the perfect base for your MTB trip, touring the North East or for just relaxing in the beautiful mountain countryside. With some of the world’s best mountain trails at your doorstep, you are also within a comfortable drive to the spectacular Bay of Fires, Binalong Bay and the Bridestowe Lavender Farm.
The Postmaster’s offers three separate unique accommodation spaces to suit families, biking groups and romantic couples.
The Lodge - The beautifully maintained and refurbished it was the home of the Derby Postmaster for over 100 years. It offers high quality country comfort for families or groups of 6 and can sleep up to 8.
The Shed - Architecturally striking with hi-tech and stylish interior and a spectacular outlook. Raked ceilings, timber floors, fast smart TV, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and quality linen, stylish bathroom with heated Spanish tiles, large decks and garden, bike and luggage storage. Sleeps a maxium of 4 people.
The Apartment - Ideal for couples (plus a sofa-bed) with all the modern conveniences of a city studio apartment and the cosy comfort of a mountain village. Bright, colourful and stylish the studio Apartment

If you cancel your booking more than 14 days before arrival you will receive a full refund of monies paid. A 50% cancellation fee applies to bookings cancelled between 7 and 14 days before arrival. No refund is provided for cancellations within 7 days of arrival or in the case of a no show. Travel insurance is highly recommended
