Located in a beautiful cul de sac on the quiet side of Derby, resides this former tin miners cottage that has been redeveloped into the perfect holiday accommodation for those wanting to shred the trails or take a moment to themselves in this revitalised Tasmanian town.

Geared for avid mountain bikers with all the amenities they could need this cottage has all the heritage charm but is equiped with all the new age features one could want (including a PS3, a true bonus if you are travelling with children!).

Originally a tin miners cottage now fully equipped for your MTB or touring experience. The wood heater & heat pump in the living area are large enough to keep this insulated cottage warm in the winter months.The spacious and comfortable open dining, lounge & kitchen space has a smart TV & WiFi.
Large open kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, oven, sandwich press, slow cooker, pod coffee machine. Both the indoor & outdoor table seats 8.
BBQ on one of the 3 outdoor decks
Lockable bike shed- with power, bike stand, steady racks & tools
Children's playground, board games, PS3, Duplo, high chair & port a cot available on request.

From Main Street, Derby drive up Renison Street for 300m and turn right on Hill Street. Destination is 80m on the left just before the turning circle. This cul de sac offers a pathway 15m down to Main Street -close to where the Valley Pond track begins/finishes

Cancellation Policy

Booking Terms and Conditions
To confirm your reservation we do require 100% upon booking.
The Guest shall not let more than the number of people on the confirmed booking request stay overnight. The Owner reserves the right to charge the Guest for any additional guests over and above that stated on the booking confirmation.

Use of accomodation/grounds is for number of booked & paying guests
Items are supplies initially free of charge and for your convenience however replenishment during your stay is the responsibility of the guest.
Wood for use in indoor fireplace for a few nights will be provided for use April - Oct only. Additional wood can be purchased from the petrol station
No pets and no parties.

Cancellation Policy
There is no refund for cancellations made within 14 days of check-in.

No refund will be given if you cancel any part of your reservation during your stay.
These direct Terms and Conditions regarding cancellation policy does not stand when booking through an external booking agent the booking agents Terms and Conditions apply.

By agreeing to pay the accommodation tariff you agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement. Providing the full payment confirms your reservation and will indicate that you agree to the above terms.
Guests staying in our holiday premises do so at their own risk. The owners incur no liability for any loss damage to property personal injury or illness. You agree further to indemnify and to keep indemnified the owners against liability to any person arising under or in right of you in respect of any loss or damage arising out of or in consequence of your participation in the use of the premises
